Cavendish got his hurt on : McEwan got his head on

Love this pic of Robbie McEwan using his head! Question: Are there any good sprinters who are also good time trialists? I can't think of any.

Without Big George Hincapie's or Mick Rogers' wheels to suck in the 2008 TOM ITT; Mark Cavendish can barely make it to the hilltop finish of stage 3. Hah!

I'm thinking Cav will be smoking cigs like Cippollini in a year or two. See Previous Post.

Err as sprinters go Tom Boonen can do a decentish TT if he puts his head to it, but normally he just doesn't try. Not that he tends to crack the top 10s.

I also meant to add a big MWUAHAHAHAHAHA to the Cav pic :] teehee.

So mean on Cav. I've never had an issue with him and I have to say after watching him this year, I'm surprised you guys aren't in love with him. He has me as a fan - especially with all of his praise on his teams and I can say that he has been winning the hearts of the crowds everyday this week. We love him up there.

Hey Nikki,
We're just mean sometimes, and for some reason Cav has brought out that negative character trait.

I'm sure he's a nice guy- just have to rank on sprinters sometimes.

I'm British and don't get me wrong it's great to have the Brits doing well and winning stuff but the boy has a lousy attitude and has hacked us Brits off a bit recently with comments and then not doing the Tour of Britain even though he confirmed months ago etc.
I was all for giving him a second chance but he's been mean to Bradley Wiggins [Cav hasn't spoken to him since the Maidson race and stormed off that day leaving Wiggo to face the media alone] so i'm not impressed.
Having said that, there's no denying he's a good sprinter. :]

I can see your point Helen. Wonder why he opted out of the TOB?

Has anyone else read interviews with cyclists about when they talk about other cylists when in the peloton with McEwen showing up? At least I have. I would conclude that the racers I follow the most are acquainted/friended with him and his sense of humor.

Sansen,
I'm sorry, but I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Slow down and lay off the caffeine. Then try to rephrase. Please.
